Our Story

At the heart of Sunset Gardens, Sunset Lagoon, and the Madokero Heritage Centre is a woman with a vision—and a passion for culture, community, and family.
Founded by Jeanup Mandaza, Sunset Gardens began as an events venue in 2015. Her passion and innovation led to the creation of Sunset Lagoon and Madokero Cultural Centre, where Zimbabwean traditions are passed down through beadwork, pottery, weaving, storytelling, and music.
